Appellation of Origin: Penedès
Made with hand-harvested vines, a thorough follow-up was carried out in order to determine the right time to harvest, selecting the best grapes from the vineyard itself. A 45% rinse was performed at the time of the smallpox to obtain a production with the highest possible concentration. The maceration was carried out for 20 days and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, to remain in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months.
Blend : 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon
Organoleptic characteristics : It has a very intense Claudia plum red color, with a good layer. The aroma is especially reminiscent of red fruit, giving way to notes of tobacco and ash from aging in French oak barrels. In the mouth it is tasty, fleshy, with personality, spreads and evolves.
Service : At room temperature in the cellar, from 12º to 14ºC, in fine glass cups. It is advisable to open the bottle a little in advance so that it is oxygenated.
Pairing : Cooked meats, casseroles, all kinds of mushrooms and even morels stuffed with foie. Also dark chocolate dessert with cherry or candied orange.
Limited and numbered production of 75 cl bottles.
