THE CAVA HARVEST IN ROVELLATS 2024

WINE GROWER FOR A DAY WITH BRUNCH

The harvest is one of the most important moments of the year, it is for this reason that we would like to share the experience of stepping on grapes and see how it was done when there were no machines.

The activity will begin in our modernist garden, where we will briefly explain our history and visit our 15th century farmhouse and the chapel.

Then, we will go towards our vineyard, where we will make small stops to explain different aspects of the way we work the vineyard at home.

Once we arrive at the table in the vineyard, we will trample the grapes with our feet and, who dares, will be able to taste a must that has just been trampled.

After walking, we can enjoy a brunch paired with long-aged wines or cavas with family or friends in our vineyards.

Festival Music Veu with XTRAMP and their tribute to Supertramp

On Saturday 20 July at 20:30 you have another important appointment at the Cava Rovellats winery:

XTRAMP brings you their SUPERTRAMP 2.O show , a review of many of the most emblematic songs of the legendary band led by Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies .

A concert organized by the Pinnae Foundation through its annual music festival: MusicVeu.

We will share songs like: Dreamer, The Logical Song, School, Crime of the Century, From Now On, Rudy, Fools Overture…, among others.

2.0 because we update the SUPERTRAMP operating system to make it sound in 2024, without a doubt a show full of emotions that will not leave you indifferent.

The band was born in Blanes in 2012. It currently consists of 7 musicians and 1 video technician . The members of the band are from the counties of Selva, Maresme, Anoia and Vallès.

XTRAMP are:

Jordi Gallart: piano, hammond, clarinet, harmonica.
Joan Barranca: electric guitars and 12 strings.

This dinner consists of 4 complete tastings + 1 consumption of wine or cava prepared by the kitchen of the Restaurant El Gat Blau in Vilafranca del Penedès. The dinner buffet will open after the concert. There will be seats and tables for everyone who has reserved dinner.

2. Roast duck and poultry cannelloni in white wine with pine nuts.
3. Brioche with pulled Gall del Penedès with candied apple and its sauce.
4. Vegetable fideuà with vegetables from the garden and fried farmer’s tomato.

3. Brioche with pulled Gall del Penedès with candied apple and its sauce (gluten-free bread)

*The MUSiCVEU is a unique music festival that brings together musical groups of varied styles and positions, seeking excellence, with the aim of promoting live musical culture in the territory of La Vegueria del Penedès and helping to promote from from emerging groups of a more classical style, to welcoming renowned singer-songwriters and ensembles of great musical diversity.

And all with a clear solidarity goal . The Musicveu allocates part of its collection obtained to solidarity projects in the territory, strengthening and promoting networking to face the new challenges of the future that arise in our society .

This year it has been chosen to support research for the cure of ALS , a social action linked through the organizations Fundació Catalana d’ELA Miquel Valls and Associació Catalana d’Afectats d’ELA (Penedès-Garraf) .

In this 10th edition, the charity Musicveu will allocate its profits to the ALS research teams at the Bellvitge Hospital.

In Rovellats this year we produced a very special cava, Solidari, a Brut Reserva 2020 of 65% Macabeu, 20% Xarel.lo and 15% Parellada. Of every €12 of its price, €4 goes to ALS research.
